Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev also arrived at the scene and gave a briefing.

Six people were arrested, of which there is data that they are criminally exposed. It takes two or three more. On Thursday it will be decided who will remain in custody, what measures will be imposed and what charges they will receive, the attorney general explained. He recalled that several months ago, police officers were attacked and beaten in the city.

“People need to know that in addition to rights, they also have obligations. They must be equal for everyone, whether they are rich, poor, Bulgarian or Roma,” Geshev added.

“There is nothing wrong with being a wealthy person. But these people have to pay their taxes to invest in Bulgarian municipalities and roads. Look at what houses they live in, what cars they drive, a standard that the ruling class cannot afford. Part of our The job is to prevent the people of the country from seeing expensive cars that do not have a single working day behind their backs or pay taxes, that is one of the priorities of the Prosecutor’s Office. They are engaged in illegal activities, be it usury, prostitution, fraud, they live in abundance but do not give anything to their country, ”explained the attorney general.
