Prof. Ivo Petrov: There will hardly be a 100% vaccine, C-19 mutates

We have not made a miracle pill, but a food supplement: a combination of 19 ingredients that support non-specific immunity and reduce inflammation in the virus. This was explained by Prof. Ivo Petrov, who together with other Bulgarian doctors created a food supplement for the prevention of COVID-19.

In these 8 months I observe that every 20 days a miracle pill appears, there are already many. Apparently the stakes are high and many want to create a miracle pill. But we realized that during the last century since the 1915 flu epidemic, the chemical-pharmaceutical industry has not made much progress in treating viral diseases, Prof. Petrov commented.

In a circle of friends, we decided to make something for our own use and we dug a lot, we did a substantial analysis of the literature on means that can help for non-specific immunity, he explained. And they affect inflammation, because it is the violent inflammation in COVID-19 that leads to the unfavorable outcomes, he added. The balanced reaction of our body is what can help us with the virus.

With regard to COVID-19, we will move to coexistence instead of fighting. Viruses, unlike bacteria, have more to do with quantum physics than with living matter. I read a lot about methods to treat the virus and I saw that one of the comments as a mechanism of action of active oxygen species is that it makes the virus less virulent, reduces its ability to penetrate the cell, and therefore plays the role of live vaccine. And the live vaccine is the most effective: the virus circulates, touches our body, comes into contact with it, does not cause very serious disorders and this allows our body to cause active specific immunity.

The supplement is available in the pharmacy network from April. It includes ginger extract, quinine tree, licorice root, selenium, zinc – things that could have a beneficial effect in terms of immunity and coexistence with the virus, explained Professor Petrov.

There will probably not be a 100% vaccine because the virus mutates, according to Professor Petrov.
