The Bulgarian authorities to put on the agenda of discussions in the European Union and NATO the case of 2015 with the “Bulgarian newcomer.”

This was demanded yesterday by the arms businessman Emilian Gebrev, his son Hristo Gebrev and Valentin Tahchiev in an open letter to Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev, with a copy for President Rumen Radev and the ambassadors of other member states of the EU and NATO, BNR reported.

The authors of the letter emphasize that Bulgaria should take advantage of the discussion at the level of European leaders this month on the Navalny case. I remember that the German authorities have categorically established that the Russian opponent was poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok.

Emilian Gebrev, Hristo Gebrev and Valentin Tahchiev note that, in stark contrast to their allies, on August 25 this year, Bulgaria officially halted the unfinished investigation into the assassination attempt against them.

All three insist on an immediate request for technical assistance to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons; reveal whether there are remains of physical evidence that would help to carry out an in-depth analysis of the poison used; ask Russia to clarify the identity of the alleged perpetrators; as well as looking for Bulgarian accomplices.
