“Delivery of the drug to regions of Russia is expected in the near future,” the press service of the Ministry of Health told reporters, quoted by TASS.

The first batch of vaccine for the prevention of a new coronavirus infection “Gam-Covid-Vak” (“Sputnik V”), developed by the National Center for Research in Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Ministry of Health of Gamalea, has passed the tests necessary in the Rozdzdravnadzor laboratories and has been put into civil circulation.

“The delivery of the first batches of vaccines in the regions is expected in the near future,” the statement said.

Previously, the Minister of Health, Mihail Murashko, explained that civil circulation at this stage means the vaccination of the population of risk groups, especially teachers and doctors, which will be carried out in parallel with the clinical trials after registration.
