Since the beginning of September, more and more Bulgarian tourists choose the Bulgarian sea for weekend tourism. There is a jump in so-called “last minute reservations”.
It seems that September is a month in which more and more Bulgarian tourists make their reservations on the Black Sea coast, especially when we talk about weekend tourism. There are several reasons: the climate is warm, the sea is still attractive, and the industry has prepared even more attractive prices.
IN THE HEAT OF LAST SUMMER: What will the weather be like in the new week?
Despite the pandemic and the approaching end of summer, some hotels on the northern Black Sea coast are experiencing an increase in bookings of Bulgarians for the weekends.
“Our guests prefer weekend tourism and this reservation period. They book at the last minute, monitor the weather forecast and make reservations,” says Yanitsa Konstantinova, who is a hotel manager.
“We chose September because of the most calm on our Black Sea coast and because of the most advantageous offers, of course,” said Galina Bozhkova.
“We are very satisfied with the offers, the location of the hotel, the service and, above all, the tranquility of September,” said Boyko Bozhkov.
“NOVA Theme”: “Retro Summer”
In September, hoteliers offered attractive discounts, both on accommodation prices and on combined services. “Currently, the discounts we offer are between 30 and 40%,” says Yanitsa Konstantinova.
Discounts have also been arranged for smaller accommodations, such as guest houses. There, prices have been reduced by about 15%. “About 30 euros a day for a double room,” says Dimitar Ivanov, manager of a guest house
The industry expects September to continue to be a success.
