After a three-day search, the owner of a transport company found one of the trucks and its driver in a ravine near the Trakia highway near Plovdiv.
On Saturday, the driver conducted a course to deliver brewer’s yeast. He was traveling on the Trakia highway in the direction of Plovdiv, but the connection with him disappeared. The owner of the transport company called the police to give a signal. From there, they told him it would be 48 hours before the man was declared wanted across the country.
Together with his employees, the owner of the company took a tour of the nearby settlements near Plovdiv. During the detour, at kilometer 171 of the Trakia highway, they noticed that the railing was bent and there were broken branches towards the gorge, reports BGNES.
Then the companions of the deceased found the truck and the driver and called the police. The truck driver died. The reasons for the accident will be clarified. The trucking company, which owns the truck, declined to comment.
