Environment and Water Minister Emil Dimitrov announced to Nova TV that even if there was an exchange between GERB and “Volya” leader Veselin Mareshki, it was done without his knowledge. The reason for his comment was what happened on September 2, when Mareshki announced in the morning that he would not support the GERB for the introduction of its draft new Constitution, and on the afternoon of the same day 10 of his 12 deputies, including himself same, signed project. In the hours when Mareshki and his deputies radically changed their opinion, the government decided to cede the “Kabakum North-2” beach to the company “Bulmedix 2012”, which is the sole owner of the capital, the former deputy of “Volya” Andon Donchev, considered the “right hand” of the party leader.
“There are coordination procedures, which sometimes take months before the final decision on the concession. Even if it was negotiated, it didn’t happen that I know of. You should ask Mr. Mareshki,” Dimitrov said.
