Burgas offers good weather until September 19, a small change with clouds is yet to come.
They are called tropical nights when the morning temperatures do not drop below 20 degrees. Only after 18-19 can there be rainfall and cold, predicts Rachev.
“Summer is the longest season in Bulgaria,” recalled the climatologist.
Prof. Rachev: The sea boils in September, the nights turn tropical!
“Still, we are approaching the autumn equinox and the autumn breeze can be seen in the lower temperatures in the morning, there is not so much lack of air, it is very pleasant,” he continued. But on the condition that we still cannot have expectations such as the weather in Greece with the “sun at the top and extension of the season until October”, as Minister Angelkova explained, he added.
“This time the forecasts for the United States and Europe and the established temperature norm differ slightly. But with the forecasts from both centers in our country it will be warmer than normal,” explained Rachev.
“All September is a holiday,” he said.
“Since July, Bulgaria has been divided into two – East, where it hardly rains, and West with normal rainfall. So we finally bathed the pillowcases, now they will have water all winter and spring. However, there is a shortage of water in the east, especially along the Kamchia River. The risk of water scarcity is high along the entire Black Sea coast, except the southernmost. Until September 17, that is, for the next 10 days it is expected to drip only on the mountain.
The forecast for rainfall below the norm continues through January. Several inefficient hydroelectric plants drain our dams, we must fear impending water shortages and manage our waters more intelligently, “said Adjunct Professor Rachev.
