The clashes became an occasion for a public confrontation. The authorities are responsible. Why the tension, when there were so many law enforcement agencies? This was stated on the morning block of Nova TV by the sociologist and former member of the CCA Tsvetozar Tomov.
“Those who ‘rushed’ to lead the protests are extremely unpleasant to me,” added mathematician and expert on the electoral process, Prof. Mihail Konstantinov.
The mathematician said about the electoral changes: “The idea was to vote for two days, first adults, then young people. In the Czech Republic, voting is two days.”
“If we introduce a two-day election day, it will cause more chaos,” Tomov said.
“There can be no snap elections or mechanical voting,” said Professor Mikhail Konstantinov.
20,000 machines must be provided for the elections; the delivery time is at least 3 months, commented the mathematician. “The fact is that there will be people who will have a hard time with a machine. The legislation should give these people a chance,” said the electoral expert.
“There are three reasons” for “the introduction of automatic voting: distrust in the fairness of the elections, elimination of the subjective factor in manual counting and modernization of the electoral process,” said Tsvetozar Tomov.
The former CEC member revealed that there are also scanning machines that collect both electronic and paper votes, which can be verified at any time.
