Hristo Stoichkov pointed to the new successor to the legendary “eight” with Barcelona. Kamata published a curious post on social networks, in which he hinted that the Dutch and Liverpool midfielder Giorgino Vainaldum is almost certain for the “Camp Nou”.
Vainaldum failed to agree on a new contract with Anfield, and his contract with the English champions expires exactly one year later.
It seems that the “reds” will prefer to sell their star this summer, rather than lose it penniless after only 12 months.
Liverpool are said to have set a price tag of £ 15m for the player, which would hardly be a problem for the Spanish giants, despite the recent turmoil. Vainaldum himself wanted to work with his compatriot Ronald Koeman, who took over at Barcelona a few weeks ago.
“The next number 8 in my dear Barça,” Stoichkov wrote under his photo with Vainaldum.
