Shortly after 9 pm, the protesters recovered in their traditional march towards the Eagle Bridge. At around 10 p.m., protesters blocked the intersection there.
According to them, tomorrow’s protest will be called “Fiesta”.
No escalation of tension at the 58th protest
Yesterday, the protesters traditionally gathered in the Plaza de la Independencia after 7:00 p.m. Shortly after 8 pm, they began to deliver toys to the police. The reason for this was the financial audit in a large chain of toy stores. According to the protesters, the reason is that the owner of the stores is among them. According to the police, the inspection was planned, along with 14 others at other companies. They added that the Minister of the Interior had already spoken with the manager of the company and the inspection was terminated.
From the rostrum, the organizers of the so-called “The Poisonous Trio” called on the protesters to meet today at 09:00 in front of the Sofia District Court and will consider the detention measures of more than 20 people who were arrested. at the September 2 protest.
After 9 pm, instead of their traditional march to Eagle Bridge, most of the protesters remained in the Triangle of Power and set up a new tent camp. Another part of the protesters blocked Eagle Bridge, but there were no tents there. There was no escalation of tension and traffic resumed during the night.
