Maya Manolova wrote a heartbreaking text about the photo with an alleged child from the protest crying as her father was arrested. Her message ended with a call to Boyko Borissov to explain the repression and leave in peace.

The news was finally refuted by a new photo. Citizens also exposed Maya Manolova’s lie on Facebook.
The manager of the Bulfoto agency, Evgeni Dimitrov, also refuted Manolova’s accusations.
He posted on Facebook:
The figure in the back right of the photo is not a child, stop commenting without thinking!
The photo shows a fellow photographer who protests every night and is smaller. Taken with a wide angle lens, it becomes very small in frame. Spreading fake news from a poorly explained photo does not help anyone, especially the protest. Think before you jump on the keyboard with 200.
