The specialized prosecutor’s office accused 4 people of participating in a criminal group for the production and distribution of drugs in the Sliven region, announced the press center of the prosecution.
The specialized prosecutor’s office prosecuted four people for participating in a criminal group organized for the production and distribution of drugs in Sliven and the region.
The four defendants were arrested on September 3, 2020 during a specialized police operation by agents of the Territorial Sector “BOP” -Sliven under the direction and supervision of the Special Prosecutor’s Office.
The evidence collected so far shows that the group has distributed in the city and the region various types of drugs, mainly cannabis, amphetamines and methamphetamines, at least since the beginning of 2018.
In the course of the investigation, drugs were found and seized in 8 directions, as well as a large number of ampoules with precursors for the production of synthetic drugs in the form of crystals. Devices for the domestic production of amphetamines were also seized; scales and 4×4 cm plastic bags for cutting medicines for sale, tablets, telephones and SIM cards, with which the participants have maintained contact with each other and with the clients.
By decree of the supervising prosecutor, the four defendants were detained for up to 72 hours. Today, September 4, 2020, a request for preventive detention will be submitted to the Specialized Criminal Court for each of them.
