“I just want to thank you for your pleasure. I hope I can justify your trust.” This was announced by the newly elected Minister of Justice, Desislava Akhladova, from the parliamentary platform, after taking the oath. She replaces the resigned Danail Kirilov, reported debati.bg.
Later, in front of the media, Ahladova announced electronic justice as her priority.
This is the second castling in the Ministry of Justice and the next renewal in the composition of the cabinet “Borisov 3”.
Although he said he made the decision to step down himself, Danail Kirilov has so far not given clear reasons for doing so. He announced his intention to resign on August 26 after speaking with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.
In that sense, the criticism of the cast came from the opposition to the BSP. According to them, the resignation is related to “the failed draft of a new Constitution and changes in the Electoral Code.”
Ahladova’s candidacy was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva, and immediately after the vote, the new minister was sworn in from the parliamentary rostrum.
Who is Desislava Akhladova?
Ahladova has a Master of Laws from Southwestern University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad.
Since May 22, 2017, he is the administrative head of the Administrative Court – Pernik, elected by decision of the Judicial Board of the Supreme Judicial Council on October 18, 2016.
From 2014 to May 22, 2017 he was President of the Pernik District Court.
From 2004 to 2014 he was Administrative Deputy Director of the Pernik District Court. In the period 2000-2004 he is a district judge at the Pernik District Court, one year before serving as a junior judge at the Pernik District Court.
He has participated in several seminars and trainings related to European and civil law.
He speaks English and Russian.
