The elected members of the new Board of Directors of Botev Plovdiv – Boris Gizdakov and Tervel Zlatev, issued a statement in which they officially announced that they do not want to be registered in the Commercial Register and that the newly elected Board of Directors will not manage the club.

Dear Botevistas!
In the last two months there have been events that are important to our favorite club.
Mr. Georgi Samuilov voluntarily scheduled a General Shareholders’ Meeting to elect a new Board of Directors of PFC Botev Plovdiv AD and returned the majority stake to the PFC Botev Association, according to the contract entered into with his company.
Before that, all members of the current Board of Directors submitted dismissal requests, and Mr. Georgi Samuilov and Atty. Dimitar Radev officially resigned from the Joint Stock Company.
As a consequence of these actions, the PFC Botev Association was forced to regain the majority stake in PFC Botev Plovdiv AD and to form a new Board of Directors. In a short time to the General Assembly.
The association appoints a 3-member board to familiarize itself with the current status of the club and take charge of its operational management. The main intention of the PFC Botev Association was to attract a large number of business representatives who wanted to invest long-term in Botev Plovdiv and, at the same time, actively participate in the management.
Sadly, even before the General Shareholders’ Meeting on August 21, 2020, a group of fans starred in unworthy and unethical scenes against us, covered by the media nationwide. Any attempt to clarify the current status of the Corporation was also prevented. In relation to the above and to avoid an escalation of tensions at all levels of interaction in the club, we, as newly elected members of the Board of Directors, decided not to register in the Commercial Registry, therefore, the newly elected Board of Directors it will not register and administer PFC.
