6: 6 (forward) – Dimitrov failed again. This time he didn’t even get to the point of winning the set. Fuchovich blew his first break point, but grabbed the second and took things to a tiebreaker in the second set.

4: 4 – this time Fuchovich definitely won his service game, giving the Bulgarian only 1 point.
5: 4 – the most controversial game to date. Grisso missed twice to close it out, and at the same time allowed two breakpoints, but thankfully Fuchovich did not take advantage and the Bulgarian took the game from the third attempt.
5: 5 – A much faster and uncomplicated game for Fuchovich won to 0.
6: 5 – this time the speedy Grigor Dimitrov leaves no chance for his opponent.
6: 6 – Another trouble-free service game for Fuchovich and the first set will be decided in a tiebreaker.
7: 6 (5) – The Bulgarian started the tiebreak in an excellent way, leading 4-0, making two mini-advances. Unfortunately after that he failed to win both of his passes and made it 4: 3 with two serves for Grisho. They were won 6: 3. The Hungarian took his passes 6: 5, but then Dimitrov closed the set and won 7: 5.
BEFORE THE DUEL
The two will meet on court number 12, and their meeting is the second on the program. Roberto Bautista-Agut and Miomir Ketsmanovich will be the first to leave at 18:00 Bulgarian time. Immediately after the end of their match, Grigor will appear on the court.
Grisso is number 20 in the ATP rankings, while his 28-year-old opponent is number 66. The two have already met since the restart of the tennis season, less than 10 days ago when Fuchovic won 2-1. he beat the Bulgarian at the Cincinnati Masters tournament, which is played in New York.
The two have no other meetings with each other. Grigor Dimitrov managed without appeal against Tommy Paul with 3: 0 to reach this stage, while Marton Fuchovich won with the same result over Hugo Delien.
