No market is affected when there is more supply and more competition, if the state sells fuels with a minimum margin, it will also be good for consumers. This was said by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, after the idea of the State Oil Company of the Ministry of Finance to keep fuel in reserve, sell to citizens and operate tax warehouses.
Donchev insisted that the company would have no advantage over the others. And European legislation is not a brake on the implementation of this measure.
According to Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov, this will make the sector more predictable. The goal is to ease tensions over fuel prices, he explained.
The company will follow all the rules of the market to have a clearer competitor, clear prices and quality to be controlled and explained that there will be more details when the invoice is developed.
