65 new cases of coronavirus in our country, 96 have already died

There have been 65 new cases of coronavirus in our country in the last 24 hours in 1,387 PCR tests. 25 of them are in the hospital. Therefore, the total number of infected is 2069.

There are 12 active districts. 24 of the new cases are in Sofia. At Blagoevgrad – 8, at Vidin and Yambol – 6 each, at Pleven and Sliven – 4 each, at Pazardzhik, Pernik and Razgrad – 3 each, at Plovdiv – 2, at Kyustendil and Ruse – one each.

23 new people were cured, making a total of 499. Three people have died in the past 24 hours. Therefore, their total number is 96. The average age of the dead is 66.8 years.

A 43-year-old man from Pazardzhik, who had concomitant diseases, died. An 83-year-old woman with concomitant diseases died at the Vratsa Hospital. She is from a nursing home in the city of Kula. An 80-year-old man with hypertension died at Pirogov.

There are 9 new cases of infected children under the age of 17: six in Sofia, two in Razgrad and one in Vidin.

7 new cases were found among the medical staff: three doctors, three nurses and one nurse. New cases among doctors are in Pazardzhik, Pleven, Plovdiv and Sliven.

365 people are hospitalized, 51 of them are in intensive care units.

The most infected so far are in Sofia: 879 people. Of all the 2069 found with COVID-19, 1003 are men and 1066 are women. The oldest patient is 95 years old and the youngest is a 2-month-old baby.

Internationally, there are 85,315 new cases of coronavirus. The death toll is 5,320.

The United States and Russia are the two leading countries with the most infections. Of the Western European countries, three report more than 1,000 people in 24 hours: Great Britain, Italy and Spain.

In the Balkan Peninsula, Turkey, Romania and Serbia are the most infected in the last 24 hours: 1,700, 190 and 67, respectively. The countries that reported less than 10 new cases are northern Macedonia and Albania.
