218 are medical personnel with confirmed coronavirus infection

Two more people with COVID-19 died today. The proven cases of infection in our country reached 2023. This is shown in the latest data from the National Operational Headquarters.

A 43-year-old man with DIC syndrome and diabetes died at the Pazardzhik regional hospital. An 83-year-old woman from the nursing home in the village of Gara Oreshets died at Vratsa Hospital. The patient had a malignancy and a stroke. Therefore, the total number of deaths with COVID-19 became 95.

Today, 19 new cases have been tested in the country. Thirteen are in Sofia, 3 – in Blagoevgrad, 3 – in Pernik.

365 people with coronavirus are in hospitals, 51 of them in intensive care units and clinics.

218 are medical personnel with confirmed coronavirus infection. This is 11% of all infected.

Regarding the general image: 981 of the registered cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria are for men and 1042 for women. The mean age of those diagnosed with coronavirus infection was 50 years.
