Northern Macedonia: Macedonian language is a reality

[ad_1]

The Macedonian language is a reality. This is stated in a statement by the Macedonian Language Institute “Kraste Misirkov”, Nova Macedonia reported.

The research institute is at the University of Skopje. It deals with the history, grammar, and development of the Macedonian literary norm.

From there, they affirm that there must be continuity and mutual respect, and each scientist must comply with reality. It is recalled that a fundamental human right is the right to a definition of language and self-determination.

It is noted that Macedonian cannot be said to be a written Bulgarian regional form of the southwest. The institute responds to a book published by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, which explains the connections between the language and Bulgarian.

Macedonian scientists believe the study is not scientifically sound. They claim that Macedonians do not consider themselves Bulgarians and do not consider the Bulgarian language as their own, as theirs has been used for decades, meaning that it has stood the test of time.

In recent weeks, politicians in northern Macedonia have called for the Macedonian to be protected in talks with the EU.
