The number of people in Satovcha municipality infected with the new coronavirus is increasing. The outbreak in the town of Osina is growing, and to facilitate prohibition measures, the infection has already been exported to other settlements, doctors in the region warn.
The first ten cases of people who tested positive for PCR in the village of Osina were recorded three days ago. There are new infected people from the surveyed contact persons. According to BNR, they are almost 15.
7 people are housed in the infectious ward of Gotse Delchev municipal hospital.
More than 30 villagers are in quarantine, but so far there has been no decision to isolate the barren village.
The massive survey of RHI-Blagoevgrad teams in the region continues. Doctors warned that there is a danger of transmitting the coronavirus, as some people moved to their homes in Gotse Delchev for fear of becoming infected.
Positive tests for Covid were also recorded in neighboring settlements.
Nationwide, 44 new cases were opened 24 hours a day, but ten of them were already announced on Saturday afternoon. Compared to previous data, there have been no new coronavirus victims in Bulgaria and there are still a total of 90 for the country.
Confirmed cases of abortion took place in 1955, of which 444 were cured, the secretary of the national operational headquarters, associate professor Dimo Dimov, announced Sunday.
Over the past 24 hours, 1,126 samples have been analyzed, and a total of 57,321 tests have been performed so far.
Dimov told reporters that one of the dead the day before in “Pirogon”, a 60-year-old man, underwent two negative PCR tests, but on May 4 the patient underwent a new one, which gave a result positive. He died of acute respiratory failure.
Of the recently registered cases, 3 are from medical employees, as 2 of them are established in Sofia and 1 in Pazardzhik. With them, the total number of proven cases of Covid-19 in our country with medical personnel becomes 209.
389 of the patients with confirmed coronavirus infection are under medical supervision in the hospital. 56 of them are housed in intensive care units or clinics.
There is increased activity in the Blagoevgrad district, which is due to an outbreak established in the Satovcha municipality. Measures have been taken and appropriate insulation measures have been introduced, said associate professor Dimov.
Internationally, there have been 88,997 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours. There have been 4,248 deaths worldwide in the last 24 hours. The United States, Brazil and Russia are the main countries with recently registered cases. In the last 24 hours, 656 cases have been registered in Sweden, 289 in the Netherlands and 101 in Denmark, Turkey has 1,546 new cases in the Balkan Peninsula, 320 in Romania and 89 in Serbia.
