In As early as 1955, people became infected from the start of the coronavirus epidemic in Bulgaria. There are 44 new cases in the last 24 hours. 17 of them are hospitalized.
This was announced at the Council of Ministers by the Secretary of the National Association of Operational Staff Prof. Dimo Dimov on the occasion of the current situation with coronavirus infection in Bulgaria.
90 already died in 1921 with coronavirus in Bulgaria
A total of 389 people with confirmed covid-19 are housed in medical institutions. 56 of them are in intensive care units and clinics.
1,126 were examined during the day, bringing the total number of PCR tests performed in Bulgaria to 57,231.
New cases of coronavirus have been registered in 11 districts of the country. 7 of them are in Sofia, of which 4 are in the hospital and 3 are outpatients. There are 15 in Blagoevgrad, 5 in Pazardzhik, 4 in Vidin, 4 in Kyustendil, 3 in Yambol, 2 in Pleven, 1 in Vratsa, 1 in Kardzhali, 1 in Montana and 1 in Sliven.
The activity observed in the Blagoevgrad district is due to the outbreak established in a village in the Satovcha municipality.
Pulmonologist: There will be three waves of patients.
The RHI has taken all measures against the epidemic. The contact persons for the first case were established. Sampling was performed and the relevant insulation measures were introduced.
There are 5 new cases of infected children ages 1 to 18. In Yambol: one child per year and 6 months, and 4 in Blagoevgrad.
A total of 206 medical staff members were diagnosed with coronavirus infection. There are 3 new cases of infected doctors.
Virologist warns of “viral hurricane in the fall”
The number of patients cured since the beginning of the epidemic is 444. There are 22 registered as recovered during the last day.
The death toll from coronavirus is 90. During the past 24 hours at UMBALSM “N. I. Pirogov”, a 66-year-old man with cancer died. He had two negative tests, but yesterday he developed acute respiratory failure. An 80-year-old man died of heart disease at Alexandrovska University Hospital.
