Two more adults were victims of COVID-19 in Bulgaria, but only 10 are newly infected

The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our country are already a total of 1921; This is shown in the data of the national operational headquarters as of 17:00 today, announced the press center of the Ministry of Health.

Today 10 more new cases have been tried: 5 in Pazardzhik, 4 in Kyustendil and 1 in Vratsa. The figure is well below what Prime Minister Boyko Borissov called critical of bringing the most stringent restrictive measures back to 100.

The death toll from the new coronavirus has doubled to a total of 90. A 66-year-old man died at Pirogov Hospital. The patient suffered from cancer. An 80-year-old man with heart disease died at Alexandrovska Hospital. The Ministry of Health expresses its condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased, according to the statement.

389 people with confirmed COVID-19 are housed in medical institutions, 56 of them are in intensive care units and clinics.

206 were medical personnel with confirmed coronavirus infection, or 11 percent of all identified cases of COVID-19.

Regarding the general image: 938 of the registered cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria are for men and 983 for women. The average age of people with proven coronavirus infection is 48.6 years, according to the department led by Kiril Ananiev.
