WHO: The virus infected in the world increased by more than 81,000, more than 1 million in Europe

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in the world has increased by more than 81,000 in the last 24 hours, said the World Health Organization (WHO).

This is 4,000 less than the day before.

The victims increased by more than 6,000 in 24 hours, which is also a slight decrease.
There are a total of 2,241,359 cases of COVID-19 and 152,551 deaths worldwide.

The highest number of infected and victims is found in Europe: 1,122,189 and 100,938 people, respectively, BTA said.

In the Americas, a total of 821,860 people were infected with the coronavirus, of which 38,258 died. The region surpasses Europe in the number of infections per day, although the number of deaths is lower.
The third is the western Pacific, which includes China, South Korea, and Japan. There are 130,696 infected with 5,621 deaths.
