Three months before his 54th birthday, Milen Tsvetkov, one of the most popular television journalists in Bulgaria and one of the most beloved television presenters, felt uneasy after a serious catastrophe in central Sofia.
In recent years, Tsvetkov lived alone and was mainly engaged in his work. But he never stopped caring for his two children: Kalina, 24, from his first marriage, and Boyan, 8, from his girlfriend, Iveta.
Tsvetkov, however, did not like to talk about his private life in public. When he did, it was all he had to say about his children, whether it was when he went to the Kalina prom in the Netherlands, or the summers he spent with Boyan in Turkey, where they went kitesurfing.
All the other writings that appeared to him in the yellow editions and the websites were with aristocratic silence.
Tsvetkov’s television career began on BNT, where he studied with the best: Brigita Cholakova. In fact, before meeting her, she is on the team for the legendary student program “Ku-ku”.
This is what Tsvetkov told “24 hours” about the 20th anniversary of Cholakova’s death, who left this world on October 6, 1999:
