Around 4 p.m., Vjazarov, Alexandrov, two girls, and another boy left the corner of Positano Street and Vitosha Blvd. to stop a taxi. The boys were standing on the sidewalk when a man with a knife in his hand took a quick step toward them.
“He chases all three of them, he quickly gets into a taxi and runs away,” a witness told police. The most seriously injured was Kiril Vyazharov, who only managed to say: “Something stabbed me, they probably robbed me!” Then the hockey player slipped and exhaled in seconds.
The girls, who witnessed the brutal massacre, called for help and called the police. At this time, the other two injured children were in pain and began to lose a lot of blood. Minutes later they were taken to an ambulance, but on the way they died and the native Vasil Alexandrov.
The third victim was hospitalized in the Military Hospital. The alleged murderer managed to escape by taxi. The cameras captured a man in a white shirt holding an object in his hand and targeting the young men who had died.

Ilian was arrested, charged, and then brought to the Sofia City Court. However, on December 9, 2011, days before his 25th birthday, he received an unexpected gift. Judge Rumyana Chenalova and her panel of judges justify it for both murders. He goes free. In December 2013, the Supreme Court of Cassation sentenced him to life in prison. However, there is no trace of Ilian. No one knows when exactly he left the country. On December 11, 2013, a new slap in the judicial system follows. In a video message, he claims to be innocent.
