Panicherevo village of Stara Zagora is closed with gendarmerie and police. By order of Health Minister Kiril Ananiyev, the village was quarantined at midnight. Its residents have time until 8:00 in the morning to go home.

Earlier today, a 58-year-old man from Panicherevo, with a positive test for COVID-19, escaped from a hospital in Stara Zagora.
After leaving the Infectious Diseases Clinic, a 58-year-old coronavirus patient was shown to be taking a taxi. He traveled more than 30 kilometers in an hour and reached his hometown of Panicherevo. He was captured at his home a few hours later, and the taxi driver was wanted.
The man was admitted to the Infectious Diseases Clinic on April 11 with a classic, according to doctors, symptomatic of coronavirus.
“3-4 days before, she had a temperature of 38 degrees and a slight cough, pain in the muscles of the body,” explained Professor Lilia Pekova, director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic at UMBAL-Stara Zagora.

Contact with the fugitive, his wife and his three grandchildren will be examined for coronavirus tomorrow. Other contacts of the escaped patient are also sought.
The search for the taxi driver continues.
On April 18, 50 people from England who have already bought tickets will return to the town, Atanas Gramatikov, the town’s mayor, told bTV.
Meanwhile, there is already a sentence in Plovdiv for breach of quarantine. Three months suspended sentence and a fine of 10,000 levs to a 26-year-old man from Plovdiv who broke his isolation and left his home.
