After returning to Ruse, she tested positive for COVID-19.
Prior to BNT, Ruse’s man, who wished not to be identified, confirmed that it was one of the last two tried and confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Danube city.
It all started in late March, when he was still in England and he felt a loss of smell, taste, fatigue, dizziness. Without serious help from local authorities, he suffered from the disease for about two weeks with increased use of vitamins, tea, and fruit. “They refused to give me any advice and told me they could send ambulances.
“Rather, I wanted advice about what to do if we became more serious. Without reaction, I personally have a jeep there, which did not help me in any way,” the man said.
After feeling better, he and one of his roommates, who also suffered from a similar illness, decided to return to Ruse by car. After almost two days of travel, hours of waiting at the borders, and just by completing declarations and passport control in some places, they arrive at the Danube Bridge 1 on the night of April 26-27.
