The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Russia has increased by 10,102 in the last 24 hours, with confirmed cases reaching 155,370, the operational headquarters for the fight against the coronavirus was announced today, cited by TASS.
For the third consecutive day, the new infected are more than 10,000, yesterday there were 10,581 and on Sunday 10,633.
A total of 19,865 people recovered and 1,770 patients were discharged per day.
The number of deaths increased to 1,451, with 95 deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
The new data shows an increase in Covid-19 cases per day of 7% from 7.85% the previous day.
The headquarters also reported that 4961 (49.1%) of the newly infected had no symptoms.
In Moscow, 5,714 new coronavirus cases were registered, with a total of 80,115. The daily growth rate of new infections in the Russian capital is 7.7%.
New infections have been recorded in 82 out of 85 subjects in the Russian Federation.
