The Swiss Football Observatory has carried out an in-depth study on the taxation of young players in various football championships around the world. He reviewed the minutes played by players under the age of 21 at 1292 clubs, representing 93 divisions worldwide.
The result shows that, globally, the difference in the use of young players varies from 29% in the Slovak Super League to just 3.7% in the Turkish Super League. Slovaks are the first in this indicator, and Turks the last.
In South America: from 21.2% in Uruguay to 11.1% in Brazil. Of the 5 best championships in Europe, French Ligue 1 is the one that gives young players the greatest opportunity: 15%, which is 2 times more than in Spain, 7%, where those under 21 are less likely.

Of the big five in the European Championship, the one who most often trusts young people is French Lille with 32.1%. At the same time, however, 4 teams from the main leagues of the Old Continent have not played against a single player under the age of 21. These are Levante, Union Berlin, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.
