In the context of grief over the late Dr. Nelly Pandova, Sofia’s Emergency Department announced that more and more people are hiding some of their symptoms when they call an ambulance. In these cases, a situation arises where the team goes to the leadership without wearing the required protective clothing. And so the risk to doctors becomes double.

Despite all this, there is currently no doctor who has left the Emergency Department for fear of the Coronavirus. But doctors are also urging patients to think about them. Dr. Nelly Pandova herself, who died over the weekend, was next to her colleagues in the Emergency Department. Dr. Pandova’s condition is deteriorating this weekend. Intubation is necessary, but even insufficient. Although she was discharged from the hospital after two negative PCR tests, there is a hypothetical possibility that she still had the virus in her body, the state’s chief health inspector, Dr. Angel Kunchev, told NOVA.
