More than 80% of parents of preschool-age children want kindergartens to open as soon as possible. This shows a survey that the Municipality of Plovdiv sent on the initiative of Deputy Mayor Stefan Stoyanov, sent to the email addresses where his children are registered in the electronic system of the Municipality of Plovdiv. The study will be summarized and presented to the Ministry of Education.
More than 60% of parents say the opening of kindergartens is directly related to their return to work. Two-thirds of respondents want the gardens to open in the next four weeks.
The survey is anonymous, with several questions: Is there a need to open kindergartens? If yes, when to start working with children? Does your return to work depend on the opening of kindergartens? If kindergartens start working, will your child attend kindergarten? If so, when will you visit? Whether from the end of May, the beginning of June or September. During the summer months / July and August / will you use kindergarten services?
Survey participants should also indicate which kindergarten their children attend. Responses will be collected before May 14 and will then be discussed on whether and how the gardens need to be opened.
The work of all educational institutions was suspended by a decision of the national operational headquarters at the beginning of the state of emergency.
