71.2% of pedagogy specialists support distance education already started in secondary school and 28.8% are against it. 65.8% would support the start of a distance organization in high school on November 3.
Here is a study carried out by the union “Education” in the LC “Apoyo” on the possible transition from the educational system to distance e-learning.
The survey was conducted among 6,100 pedagogical specialists in four days. The high percentage of desire to switch to electronic mode from a distance for high school and high school is understandable for several reasons.
The Bulgarian school is the safest environment possible, but it is constantly used for political purposes, to instill the opinion of how dangerous educational institutions are and that this is where the incubators of the Kovid infection are. This, of course, is neither responsible nor beneficial to children and students, but it demonstrates the lack of civic education and thinking of the Bulgarian political elite.
That is why 71.2% of the teachers surveyed believe that educational institutions are in danger of contagion. Of course, this is not true, and neither are the promises of the Minister of Health, Mr Angelov, that there will be free testing of teachers and students at the expense of the RHI.
There is probably a prohibition for the Minister of Health, regional inspectorates to issue examination orders to teachers and students, and if a teacher or director decides to take the test, it is on their own. Even with a sick family member, RHIs do not prescribe CRP, but recommend quarantine.
Currently, 671 are infected teachers, but this number does not include teachers who are in quarantine due to a positive test from a family member or in cases where the teacher’s child is quarantined due to a class or group in quarantine in kindergarten.
The number of teachers cited above does not include those with other illnesses. Some teachers are already on leave due to the aggressive campaign of the national headquarters that a new apocalypse awaits us.
In relation to what has been said so far, the management of educational institutions has great difficulties in providing replacements, even for 10% of sick teachers, so the distance mode is the only way out.
Regarding the initial stage, 53.1% compared to 46.9% believe that distance education should not be changed. This answer is based on the relative consolidation of classes at an early stage.
The result is similar to 56.5%, compared to the transition from kindergarten to remote mode. 69.9% of those surveyed believe that higher education institutions should switch to distance learning in an electronic environment.
Of course, current primary and preschool learners cannot replace socialization and parenting, but for the education system to continue to function, a financial resource and a bank with teachers or students to replace them are needed. But this is not yet available.
The workload of the Bulgarian teachers, due to internal replacement of absent sick colleagues, leads to an increase in the burnout effect to a critical 70%. Currently, the quality of education and storage of teachers and principals is at stake.
There are still problems with the lack of digital resources and digital resources for teachers to work in an electronic environment. The Ministry of Education and Science currently provides funds for laptops for just over 2% of Bulgarian teachers.
The “Education” trade union advocates to protect the life and health of Bulgarian teachers and to stop burdening the current unplanned regime of organizing the education system.
