40 socialists threw away their party tickets today. All of them were members of the red organization in the Triaditsa district of the capital.

They are the members of 2 main party organizations, and one of them is headed by Alexander Vachev, who was the BSP candidate for regional mayor of “Triaditsa” in the last local elections.

“We are leaving because we want to remain socialists,” Vachev told 24 Chasa. “I am a responsible person and the decision I made is difficult, but I make it precisely because I am responsible to the party and my teammates. In recent years, the BSP has undergone major changes in the party’s management model that do not comply with its principles and character. the moment I agreed to be a member of the BSP – for 10 years. I have worked with the people of the region and my colleagues, and I cannot remain indifferent to the processes that are in the public eye right now – that the BSP has become an authoritarian party, “he said. And he explained that they are for the preservation of the collective bodies of the party and the collective principles of leadership.

Vachev added that together with his colleagues, with whom they fight for socialist ideals, principles and the welfare state, they cannot remain indifferent to “this leadership party that the BSP is becoming.” We are like-minded progressive socialists who want to sound in the modern language of society, he added.

Vachev said that the exit process was not carried out only in “Triaditsa”, it would soon be known about other districts of the capital, as well as about those who left the red structures throughout the country.

The head of the organization in “Triaditsa” is the municipal councilor Diana Tonova, who is close to the leader Cornelia Ninova and was her favorite for the post of Kaloyan Pargov in SOS – head of the red group of councilors.

Rumen Ovcharov and Hristo Prodanov, who is among the new additions to the Executive Board, are also members of Triaditsa.
