Four people were injured with cold steel today in Paris in unclear circumstances, reported AFP, cited by BTA.

This happened near the old Charlie Hebdo newspaper office, where bloody attacks took place in 2015.

AFP later reported that a suspect had been detained in connection with the attack.

Two people need urgent help, police said. It is alleged that it was an attack with two attackers who escaped.

Security forces are stationed in the area. The perimeter has been extended as a suspicious package was found nearby, BFM television reported.

The mayor of the capital’s 11th district has decided to part ways with schools, churches and nursing homes in anticipation of the arrest of the suspects.
