Three more people died of coronavirus
38 were new cases of COVID-19 infection per day. The total number of infected in our country is 2138. This was announced by the Secretary of the National Association of Headquarters Operations, Prof. Dimo Dimov.
The newly infected are found in the districts of Sofia (7 cases), Blagoevgrad (10 cases), Yambol (6 cases), Razgrad (5 cases), Kyustendil (2 cases), Vidin (2 cases), Veliko Tarnovo (1 case ), Pernik (1 case), Pleven (1 case), Ruse (1 case), Sliven (1 case) and Smolyan (1 case).
A case of a 5 year old boy was found in Kyustendil in children under 18 years old. Among the medical staff there are two newly infected doctors in Sofia and Razgrad, with a total of 230.
The number of COVID-19 fighters is already 545. “The new cases are 24. Respectively, there are 23 in Sofia and one in Burgas,” said the Secretary of the Operational Headquarters.
Three deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. “A 69-year-old man at MHAT-Vidin, a 56-year-old man from Veliko Tarnovo, with diabetes and an inflammatory process in the thigh area and a 69-year-old man, housed at Gotse Delchev Hospital, Osina,” he added. Assoc. Prof. Dimov and specified that the average age of the deceased remains 66.8 years.
321 are people with confirmed COVID-19 in Bulgaria, who are under medical supervision in hospital conditions, as 49 of them are in intensive care units.
