The GERB Municipal Chairman in Banite, Ventsislav Shishkov, has sent a statement to the GERB Executive Commission that he is leaving the party and vacant his post as municipal leader. Along with him, 28 other people are leaving the party, Ventsislav Shishkov himself announced on Facebook.
“I am leaving the GERB and the position of municipal leader because I do not want to see how what I have built collapses and how flattery, intrigue, dictatorship and behind the scenes of certain personalities find a place in the party.”, he writes.
It states that the current city councilors have been excluded from the latest GERB lists to find a seat for the president of ABV and member of BSP.

And then he clarified that Dr. Daniela Daritkova, with her positions in the government and the party, has lost contact with the public and GERB supporters.
“Dr. Daritkova, this is a mockery of members and supporters. I don’t want to see the GERB turn into a dictatorial party led by one person in the entire Smolyan region.”he says.
Former Blagoevgrad mayor Atanas Kambitov also recently left the party. GERB’s Vidin Mayor Ognyan Tsenkov also left GERB. They both joined Tsvetan Tsvetavov’s new project. Along with Tsankov, 50 other members of the GERB municipal organization in Vidin left.
