“The quantities delivered are 140,000 doses of 0.4 ml and more than 150,000 of 0.6 ml of low molecular weight heparin. These are the amounts that are for the network of pharmacies in medical establishments – for pharmacies in hospitals, “said the Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov.

The minister specified that thanks to the quantities, the entire hospital market will be satisfied with the necessary figures.
Every Monday, 2,000 packs of six syringes, including for pregnant women, will be dispensed in the pharmacy network for citizens, according to preliminary agreements with permit holders.
The doses received will be distributed throughout the country, depending on the needs and requests of medical institutions.
“We have created the logistics for all those who have submitted requests for it to be implemented as a priority. There is the possibility of delivery 24 hours a day with state cars ”, added the line minister.
Prof. Angelov insisted that at the moment there is no shortage of drugs in the country’s hospitals and pharmacies.
Hours earlier, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov announced that 300,000 doses of low molecular weight heparin, which is used with other drugs in the treatment of COVID-19, will arrive in Bulgaria today.
