6,042 PCR tests were performed in the last 24 hours
There are 189 new cases of coronavirus in our country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Unified Information Portal. Since the start of the pandemic, the number of people infected by coronavirus has reached 18,733.
In the last 24 hours, 6,042 PCR tests have been carried out, according to data from the National Information System, since the 189 new registered cases of COVID-19 represent 3.13% of the tests performed.
119 people were cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number since the start of the pandemic to 13,510. Four people died in the last day and the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic reached 753.
There are 4,470 active cases, a total of 728 patients with confirmed coronavirus infection, hospitalized, and 34 of them are in intensive care units or clinics.
The highest number of people infected by COVID-19 during the last 24 hours was registered in Sofia (40), followed by Blagoevgrad (29), Plovdiv (20), Stara Zagora (16) and Varna (14).
