This was announced by the Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov.

The first Pfizer vaccine will arrive in Bulgaria before the New Year or early next. First we will receive 125,000 doses. This was announced by the Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov, during today’s working meeting convened by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov with members of the government.

More cured than those newly infected with COVID-19 per day

“We are currently creating a vaccination plan,” Professor Angelov said. And they specify that the vaccine will be free and will be given to those who want it absolutely voluntarily, said the minister.

He emphasized that after the introduction of the extended anti-epidemic measures, during the last 7 days those cured by COVID-19 are 12 070. Angelov also announced that Sofia is leaving the districts with the highest morbidity – with 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Only Gabrovo and Kyustendil remain in this group. There is also a reduction in pressure on the health system, which in the capital was quite serious.

Borissov: It is important that the number of people cured grows and that the company works.

Nationwide, there is a full supply of personal protective equipment, disinfectants and medicines, as “Remdesivir” is available to all needy Bulgarian patients.
