Bucks’ Eric Bledsoe arrives in Orlando after COVID-19 diagnosis

LAGO BUENA VISTA, Fla. – After his COVID-19 diagnosis caused a delay in the trip, Milwaukee Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe arrived here to restart the NBA.

Last Thursday, Bledsoe told ESPN that he was asymptomatic but “felt good.” The team on Wednesday night posted a video of Bledsoe walking through the lobby of the Grand Destination Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs in Orlando, Florida.

Now that he’s here, Bledsoe will have to be quarantined for at least two days while recording two negative coronavirus tests 24 hours apart. It will not be available for the Bucks’ first game against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.

Bledsoe was averaging 15.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game when the season was halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

His teammate Pat Connaughton, who was also diagnosed with COVID-19, said he hopes to join the team as soon as possible.
