Browns pitch 4 players – cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Browns cut their roster for the first time during training camp Friday, releasing four players, the team announced.

Linebacker Jermaine Grace, wide receiver Tony Brown, defensive end George Obinna and defensive tackle Justin Zimmer were released. Zimmer was released with a non-soccer related injury.

Zimmer is the only one of the four who appeared last season for the Browns, playing in the last two games after the Browns fired him from the Falcons’ practice team.

Obinna signed with the Browns in April as an undrafted free agent out of the state of Sacramento as did Brown, who played college football in Colorado. Grace signed with the Browns in 2018 after spending time in Atlanta and Indianapolis and re-signed with the Browns’ practice team late last season.
