ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – First-round pick Jerry Jeudy accepted the terms of his four-year rookie contract, the team announced Thursday.
As a first-round pick, your contract will also include a fifth-year team option.
Jeudy is the ninth member of the Broncos’ 2020 draft class to accept the terms. Michael Ojemudia, Lloyd Cushenberry III, McTelvin Agim, Albert Okwuegbunam, Justin Strnad, Netane Muti, Tyrie Cleveland and Derrek Tuszka agreed to the terms earlier in the week.
The 15th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft caught 145 passes for 2,478 yards and 24 touchdowns in his past two seasons in Alabama. He was named the 2018 Biletnikoff Award winner as the best receiver in the country, and finished second in Alabama history with 26 total touchdowns.
Jeudy is expected to be an instant impact starter in the Broncos’ new offense.
Jeudy and the rest of the team’s rookies were due to report to the UCHealth Training Center on Thursday for the COVID-19 test.
Nine of the 10 members of the Broncos’ 2020 draft class have accepted the terms of their rookie contracts. Only second-round pick KJ Hamler has yet to agree to the terms.
