Brody Jenner MTV preferred its filming – it would only be able to resume shooting for “The Hills: New Beginnings” if it were to be released in L.A. Is shot in and nowhere else, and guess what? The network said, OK.
Production sources tell TMZ … The other cast members were ready to bubble up Lala Land and the movie house, which will have a full cast, similar to what they do in “Big Brother” and “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation”. Some places are being considered … Colorado and Montana. But Brody didn’t have it.
We’ve been told in early August, Brody’s team started a conversation with the network and insisted that he would only make the show film in LA, we’ve been told he told the show about the cast members and things going on around their lives. LA, not some random location outside of SoCal.
Brody also told the network that they are ready to wait 2 seasons and resume production until the COVID-19 vaccine arrives. Epidemic stop it Season 3 episodes.
We have been told by MTV that he kept putting pressure on Brody … but Brody put his foot down.
Eventually, MTV came back to him one last time and when Brody Agina refused to film outside of LA, MTV realized that he would not be able to do the show without her. We have been told that Season 2 will resume production in LA in the next 2 to 4 weeks.
It’s clear that Brody has the advantage and he’s come out on top. It should be noted … Brody and the network are in deep deep conversation to bring him back to the network as he is now happy that the show is taking on its original form. That said, Brody has until Monday afternoon to sign in … but all indications point to a matter of time.
