Britney Spears’ mom files documents to be part of her finances

Britney Spears’ mother Lynne Spears has filed legal documents to make sure she is included in decisions about her daughter’s finances.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Lynne, 65, filed an application with the Los Angeles County Courts on Monday to be included in any “special notice” of “all matters” related to the Britney Billionaire Trust.

The 38-year-old “Toxic” singer established the “SJB Revocable Trust” in 2004 to protect her finances and ensure that her children, Sean, 14, and Jayden, 13, were cared for. It was also established to “maintain and manage your material financial assets during your lifetime, and to provide for the distribution of those assets after your death.”

The Blast reported that the trust included a wide swath of possessions in addition to property, bank and securities accounts, including “furniture and furnishings, clothing, jewelry, vehicles and vehicle accessories, books, paintings and other works of art, and other items tangible personal, domestic or recreational use or nature, along with any insurance on said property. “

Britney has been under guardianship since 2008. Her father, Jamie Spears, was her guardian for more than a decade, but was temporarily relieved of her duties in 2019. Her care manager, Jodi Pais Montgomery, will act as her conservator until April 22. August.
