The NFL has finally reinstated receiver Josh Gordon, one of many indefinitely suspended players who lost in exchange for the new CBA, which successfully passed the suspension for positive drug tests.

Gordon is expected to be added to the acquired corps led by Seahawks, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

“He was an unbelievable pro,” Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer told reporters on Thursday. “I mean the way he worked. . . . It was wonderful to be around. I can’t wait for him to come back and he gives up [quarterback Russell Wilson] Another fun toy to play with. “

Gordon’s best season came in 2013, when he scored 1,646 receiving yards for the Browns in just 14 games.

Still only 29, Gordon has plenty of good football left to him. The hope here is that the league treats him like all other players and is concerned about things that stay away from work, especially when those things do not in any way affect the rights of others.
