President TrumpThe last guest on the golf course is someone that many people probably didn’t expect to see … one Brett Favre, who recently expressed admiration for Colin Kaepernick.
The former QB and 45 hit the links on Saturday, and even posed for a photo together that the White House later released online. They are both wearing golf attire, and they seem pretty friendly next to each other, with DT holding up his thumbs and Brett with his arm on the Prez’s back.
Until now, we hadn’t heard much from BF about his political leanings, especially when it comes to Trump. Not that playing golf with the guy doesn’t indicate anything either, other than the fact that they’re friendly. Still, although it’s interesting, especially when you bring Kap into the equation.

Remember, Brett told TMZ Sports that he considered Kaepernick on the same line how Pat tillman – The former NFL player who enlisted in the armed services in the 2000s, and then died while at war … a hero, in other words. Brett seemed to compare Kap to Pat.
He later clarified his comments, saying they weren’t completely the same, obviously, Pat made the ultimate sacrifice with his life, but noted that they both put aside their soccer careers for a bigger cause than themselves. Still, the feeling was more or less the same.
Including Pat Tillman’s name in the Colin Kaepernick interview was not a comparison of the two, but an acknowledgment that they both put aside their soccer dreams in search of a cause. Tragically, Pat lost his life, making the ultimate sacrifice, and deserves the highest honor.

With that in mind, you should ask yourself if CK was raised during this excursion. Of course, Trump has vocally criticized Kaepernick In the past, just like any other player who knelt down during the National Anthem, but it hasn’t been that bad with the guy these days.
In fact, Trump said Kap should probably have a second chance in the league … if he deserves it. If that’s where he is now on the subject, perhaps the subject was not as polarizing as you might think.
