A new one De Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 lek may hint at the release date for the exclusive Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite game. This week, the collector’s edition of the game was leaked online, thanks to European retailer WT&T. Unfortunately, the mention does not reveal the collectors’ edition of the game, but it is what it may suggest that Nintendo and Zelda fans up.
There is nothing very interesting to save from the content of the mention, but the mention itself is interesting. Assuming it is not just a mistake or wrong, the mention comes at an interesting time. A collector’s edition is typically published next to a release date. That the fact that a collector’s edition has run may suggest that Nintendo has a date for the game, and that it may be revealed relatively soon.
Added to this speculation, there have been a flurry of rumors and reports about a Nintendo Direct event happening soon. In other words, Nintendo fans are starting to connect the dots, although it remains to be seen if there are actually any dots to connect here.
If we were to get an announcement about a release date soon, it would mean that the game is likely to be released in 2021. A 2020 release is still on the table, but with a major release like this, Nintendo wants to get a fair marketing campaign in It is also important to remember that we have not seen anything of this game since E3 2019. That Nintendo has a lot more to share and open before it releases. That said, although a 2020 release is not completely off the table, it’s certainly off the edge.
Take, of course, all this speculation with a grain of salt. While the collector’s edition online may indicate an upcoming announcement about release date, it is equally possible that this was a mistake as an example of a retailer looking for page views.
Officially, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in development for the Nintendo Switch and is currently without a release date or even a release window.
