Walt Disney World has just announced custom Halloween events throughout the Magic Kingdom for the upcoming fall season, including the option to wear costumes for the first time ever (out of the ordinary exception made for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!)

From the Disney Parks Blog:

From September 15th to October 31st, be sure to fall in love again at Magic Kingdom Park. You wake up in the aura of autumn with Main Street, USA, dressed in autumn decor and other seasonal offerings.

Of course, Halloween is THE autumn holiday, and there will be some captivating surprises this year, including a special Halloween-themed cavalcade featuring Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and friends wearing their favorite Halloween costumes. You can even spot that crazy chipmunks, Chip ‘n’ Dale, in costume in Frontierland, and look for other Disney character friends dressed up and ride the horse-drawn trolley to Main Street, USA

And speaking of costumes, get ready! To bring some Halloween party fun to the park this year, guests of all ages can wear your funniest, Disney-ist, most creative costumes for the first time during Magic Kingdom Park’s regular business hours from September 15th to October 31st. important reminder, costume masks are not allowed for adults; only children under the age of 14 may wear clothing masks. In addition, all guests are required to wear approved face cover during their visit. Before you arrive, check us know before proceeding and guidelines for costumes.

Autumn at Walt Disney World Resort would not be complete without our popular fall streams, such as the famous Pumpkin-spiced Waffle Sundae at Magic Kingdom Park. You can read the full Fall Food Guide for 2020 by clicking here.
