Despite constant rumors that he may be interested in vacating coaching in Bloomington, Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens reiterated on Friday that he is not interested in the position.
On Friday, when asked by reporters if he was considering a coaching job in Indiana, Stevens replied: “I said the other day: I’m not.”
Stevens Continued: “And I tried to make it as clear as possible and also make sure that people understand the place is special to me. Because it’s not like I don’t want to sound it. But, as I said the other day, I am very grateful to this organization and the people here and for what they have done for us. “

Rumors have been circulating that Stevens may be taking over the position of head coaching in Indiana after Archie Miller was fired on Monday afternoon.
Stevens, who grew up in Indiana and had a child with I.U. Participated in sports, he competed in two NCAA Championships before Bostall took over as Boston Celtics coach. He is currently in his eighth year with the Celtics.
